PAXTRIMP PRC: Transaction Import Fails with PA_DFF_VALIDATION_FAILED Using Special Validation Set (Doc ID 1373298.1)

Symptoms

When running program PAXTRIMP PRC: Transaction import fails with:

ERROR:
The flexfield on this field contains a value set (XXValue_set ) that uses special or pair user-exit validation.
This prohibits operation in the mode that optimizes performance over a wide-area network.
To continue using this form, have the system administrator either remove the all special or pair validated value sets from this flexfield definition, or turn off wide area operation by setting the profile option - Flexfields: Validate on Server to N

   
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Expect PAXTRIMP PRC: Transaction import to run successfully.

STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Projects Responsibility
2. Navigate Requests > run PAXTRIMP PRC: Transaction import
3. Verify Accounting Date field, which is mandatory and enabled

 

Changes

 Add Special Validation Set.
