Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
EXECUTABLE:XLAACCPB - Create Accounting

Symptoms

When running Submit Accounting in Receivables the following error is shown:

Error 95311
The DIVISION segment value for the account code combination 003.000.000000.400201.00000.0000 specified in line 1 is not assigned to the ledger XXX SET OF BOOKS. Please update the DIVISION segment value assignments for the ledger in the Accounting Configuration page or use another DIVISION segment value.

- This error comes after adding a new legal entity to the Ledger

Existing legal entity: 003
New legal entity: 102

The error only occurs for transactions using legal entity 003 . These transactions and credit memos were created before the new changes to the Ledger. After creating the new legal entity then run create accounting and the above error occurs.

The new transactions entered after the Ledger changes seem to be accounting correctly without error.
