How To Disable The Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) in iStore ? (Doc ID 1378261.1)

Goal

Due to changes to the Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) it is no longer required in iStore - Can it be disabled ?

  The Descriptive Flexfield was setup for Order Management and for Order Capture to display in iStore.
  The Descriptive Flexfield is displayed in the iStore Shopping Cart page and Additional Information tab.
