Reversal Details Are Not Passed To Secondary Ledger Journals Where Reversal Criteria Is 'No Default' (Doc ID 1378637.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.0 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.0 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Defined Reversal Criteria Set and assigned it to both Primary and Secondary Ledgers.
For a specific category, the Reversal Period was set to 'No Default'.
Posted journals in Primary Ledger having reversal details entered manually.
Run Program - Automatic Reversal in Primary and Secondary Ledgers and noticed that the AutoReversal program does not pick the Secondary Ledger's journals as the reversal details are not propagated from the Primary Ledger's journals.

This works fine if the Reversal Criteria Set is defined to show Reversal Period as anything else than 'No Default' - such as Same Period, Next Period, Next Non-Adjusting.
