Symptoms
Construction Industry Scheme 2007 is enabled
There are 2 Withholding Tax Code set: One for CIS 2007 against the CIS 2007 Tax Authority (HMRC) says CIS 20% and another one, say CITB against a different Tax Authority, says CITB 1.5%.
You select your Payables responsibility
You navigate to the Payables Invoices Workbench
You enter a invoice of amount 120.00 against the CIS 2007 Subcontractor
There are 2 Withholding Tax Lines created: one for the CIS 2007 CIS 20% showing amount of 20.00 and another for CITB 1.5% showing amount of 1.50.
You navigate to the Monthly Returns UI page
You enter required field
You submit the Monthly Returns
Once completed, you review the output from the Monthly Return report in Detail Mode:
For you invoice, the 'Tax Deducted' column shows value of 21.50 and it should be 20.00, which is the Tax Deducted for CIS 2007
