Your Session is no Longer Valid Error When External Candidate Resets the Password with Appslocallogin.jsp (Doc ID 1384101.1)

When an external candidate accesses AppsLocalLogin.jsp and resets their password and then logs in on IrcVisitor.jsp or AppsLocalLogin.jsp, the following error occurs:

Your session is no longer valid.
Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response.  Please consult the application log for details.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
External candidate resets password on AppsLocalLogin.jsp.
