Symptoms

When attempting to submit a quote to order, the following error occurs.

APP-236049 There was an error in order submission.


Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Responsibility: Oracle Quoting
  2. Navigation: Quotes
  3. Place order
  4. Error appears with no further details.

 

In some cases, the error message may also include messages that would normally appear as a warning when reported without this error condition.
For example: APP-236113: This Customer's PO Number is referenced by another order.

 

Changes

Sales person was inactivated.
