Depot Repair Price/Charges Rounding To 2 Decimal Places Despite The Price Being Set To 4 Decimal Places (Doc ID 1385722.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Depot Repair - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Using Multi currency conversion setup and trying to use '-4 ' 'round to' value in the Price List setup. But in Depot Repair Superuser > Repair order > enter estimates / actuals, the currency fields are shown as 2 decimal places.

The expectation is that Depot Repair should honor the round to / precision setups.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Change the profile 'QP: Unit Price Precision Type' to 'Extended' at Depot Repair application level.
2. Updated the 'Round to' in Multi currency setup to ' -4 '
This effected the existing Price list round to setup.
3. Entered charges (under Estimates/Actuals tab), the 'Round To' in the form still reflects for ' -2 ', though the database value rounds to ' -4 '
4. In logistics lines, the price is rounding in the Depot Repair module to ' -2 ' , but in the actual OM lines, it is rounded to ' - 4 ' correctly, though again the OM order total is rounded to ' -2 '.
