Price Breaks Not Working Properly When Creating Requisitions (Doc ID 1386234.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When requisitioning Items in iProcurement from a Blanket Purchase Agreement with Price Breaks, the shopping cart is not updated with the price breaks. The Unit Price remains the non discounted price, when the quantity meets the price break range.

Attempted solutions from following without success:

<Note 605498.1> - How Come The Price Breaks Are Not Being Used In iProcurement?
<Note 472958.1> - System Does Not Consider The Price Break Effective Date In The BPA

Changed the Ship To location on the blanket to match the deliver to location in iProcurement, but Price break still not reflected in shopping cart.

Expected Behavior

Requisitions created using a GBPA with a price breaks setup, should be created with the respective discount.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create Blanket Purchase Agreement from BWC and add an item with price break of 10% with 10 items or more.
See: Default Ship-To Location = Purchasing Department
2. Go to iProcurement > Preferences > iProcurement Preferences
See: Deliver-To Location = Purchasing Department
3. Go to Home Page,
4. Select item from step 1 for shopping
5. Select quantity of 10
6. Price break should be of 10% of discount.
7. Observe price break IS NOT working here.
