Installed Base (CSI): Installed Date Not Being Added To Components Of Configuration (Doc ID 1386571.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
Manual updates to the Install Date for top level configuration items are not cascaded down to all child components.

Expected Behavior
Installation Date should be updated automatically to all components of a configuration when the top level date is updated

Steps to Reproduce

1. Select a configuration instance where some of the child components have a different Install Date to the parent instance
2. Update the Installation Date in the front end form for the top level instance and save
3. Date does not update those child components whose Install Date was different to the parent
