(1). Diagnostics Patches needed

Apply Following as per your Application Version:

1. R12.0.4 CE Diagnostics - Payment and Receipt Diagnostics

Consolidated Patch For 12.0.4 onwards:

<Patch: 13387120:R12.CE.B> This patch is a consolidated patch for all CE Diagnostics including BAT & Cashflow Diagnostics.

4. R12 Bank,Branch and Bank Account Setup Diagnostics

If the test is not available, apply Patch 22026103-CE Diagnostic Test for Bank,Branch and Bank Account Setup Information available for 12.1 & 12.2

5. R12.2: Users on 12.2.x version can use diagnostic from Application Diagnostics Responsibility as these diagnostics are included.

(2).  Common Steps to run the Diagnostics tests


Login to Oracle Applications
1). Select Application Diagnostics Responsibility.
2). Select Diagnose from submenu.
3). This will take you to the Diagnostics tests Page.
4). Click on Select Application.
5). Search for "Cash Management", select the searched entry and click Select Button.
6). This will take you back to the Diagnostics tests Page, and the Cash Management Diagnostic Tests Will Be listed, shows Diagnostics tests AVAILABLE:
a.    RDA
b.    SETUP: General
c.    RECEIPTS
d.    PAYMENTS
e.    CASHFLOWS & BANK ACCOUNT TRANSFER

(3). Diagnostics Tests available

1). RDA:

Take Responsibility: Application Diagnostics
Take: Diagnose

RDA:
Select a Test by checking the Box in SELECT Column: RDA
Then Click Execute Button from Bottom.

Responsibility ID >> Select from List of Values    (Attached your USER ID)        
Application Shortname >> Select from List of Values (Filter by: Application Shortname): CE    
Unmask sensitive data >> Yes or No
APPS Schema Username >> find from your DBA
APPS Schema Password >> FIND FROM YOUR DBA

Click Submit.
Refresh

Once the request completes it has two options:
1). View Report
2). Down Load Report.      

(4). Question / Answer

Q1: If the Diagnostics patch applied and ‘Configure’ tab shows the tests as available, but not able to select the ‘Cash Management’ Application or Not able to see the tests to execute under ‘Diagnose’ tab?

A1: If the Diagnostics patch applied and ‘Configure’ tab shows the tests as available, but not able to select the ‘Cash Management’ Application or Not able to see the tests to execute under ‘Diagnose’ tab, please make sure to run ‘Diagnostics patching CP’ concurrent program to resolve this issue.

Steps:
Login to eBusiness suite as sysadmin.
Navigate to : System Administration : Request : Schedule
Submit program mentioned below:
  Name - Diagnostics patching CP
  Short Name - DIAGPATCHINGCP
  Application - Application Object Library
  No input parameters needed to enter.

After this, try to get the diagnostics again and test the issue.

Q2: When attempting to run diagnostics and selecting an application the following error occurs: For input string: "J"

A2:Apply <Patch: 9239092:R12.IZU.B> Delta.3 which will update your diagnostics level to 12.1.3, and then retest as your issue is specific to 12.1.1
