Gather Schema Statistics Fails With Error For APPLSYS Schema (Doc ID 1393184.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading application to 12.1.3 and database to 11.2.0.2, when attempting to run concurrent request 'Gather Schema Statistics' with parameter 'schema_name= APPLSYS', the following error occurs.

Error #1: ERROR: While GATHER_TABLE_STATS:
object_name=APPLSYS.FND_HISTOGRAM_COLS***ORA-20001: invalid column name or duplicate columns/column groups/expressions in method_opt***

 

Changes

Upgrade application to 12.1.3 and database from 9i to 11g
