What are the requirements for the mapping of flexfield information from quotes to sales orders by using the "Place Order" in forms Quoting ?

I have no context in the quoting DFF. But the "Additional Line Attribute Information" flexfield of sales order is context-sensitive. The context is the order type. By creating a sales order out of a quote the field CONTEXT in oe_order_lines_all is not filled with the order type of the quote, so the DFF information will not be display in the forms mask, but is filled in the attribute fields in database.

If the OM flexfield is context-sensitive does the quoting flexfield have to be context-sensitive, too? Or only, that the segments have to be the same?
