Symptoms
ONC Short Term Money Not In Daily Journals Before Settling
Users need to have process to Journalize before they can settle the transaction. However with the current setup they are missing some journal entry and /or this was resulting in duplicate INTSET entries for other deals because they have an additional set of entries, ie, COMMENCE INTSET SETTLE. This was resulting in double entries.
1. As per user it is not possible to implement the COMMENCE INTSET SETTLE because it needed to register the interests but like a reserve interests in the corresponding months, at the beginning of the investment, something like interest provision. To reserve the interests in the corresponding months when the investment covers a weekend, holidays, ends and beginning of months, etc.
2. The Treasury Documentation do not have 'that instead of using 'commence' users must use settle'.
