Information in this document applies to any platform.
When one LPN is consolidated inside a parent LPN, the system should not allow the child LPN to be assigned as the parent of the the LPN that is already the parent.

Symptoms

On 12.1.3 version, LPN Management:

Actual Behavior
The Consolidate LPN functionality allows 2 LPNs to be assigned as parents of each other. In the material workbench this causes endless loop when drilling down from Parent LPN to Child LPN as both LPNs are parents of each other.

Expected Behavior
When one LPN is consolidated inside a parent LPN, the system should not allow the child LPN to be assigned as the parent of the the LPN that is already the parent.

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. On mobile did Misc. Receipt of item ABC4888 into sub/locator FGI/1.1.1 and packed into LPNABC_A. Quantity is 4.
2. Performed LPN split of qty 1 from LPNABC_A into LPNABC_B.
3. Performed Consolidate LPN, using parent as LPNABC_A, Next LPN as LPNABC_B.
4. Performed another Consolidate LPN, using parent as LPNABCB, Next LPN as
LPN446A. System should not have allowed this to happen.
5. On desktop, queried item ABC4888 and drilled down to LPNABC_A.
6. Then drilled down to LPNABC_B.
7. Then drilled down to LPNABC_A again.
8. This will repeat forever.
