E-Business Suite version 12.1.3

When attempting to access E business suite from portal using the Safari browser, user may intermittently get following error.

ERROR

Safari can't open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open
"https://<hostname of portal server>:<portal port>/<Portal instance name>/PORTAL.wwsec_app_user_mgr.edit_account_information?
p_back=http%<url>/portal/page/portal/login". This might occur if you open a page that is
redirected to open another page which is then redirected to open the original page.

or


  Too many redirects occurred trying to open
  https://<hostname of portal server>:<portal port>/<Portal instance name>/osso_login_success?
  urcl=v1.4~.......
  This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.


STEPS

The issue may intermittently occur based upon the user and system situation, but usually during Authentication requests


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------

Due to this issue, users cannot access E business suite using Safari browser.
