Error "Exception happened when calling deliver API" When Delivering Report via FTP Method (Doc ID 1402976.1)

Symptoms

You are scheduling a BI publisher report and delivering the report via FTP delivery method to a server via SOAP call.  You are receiving the following error:

Delivery failed.
[INSTANCE_ID=<servername.domain>.1323278522241] [OUTPUT_ID=1153]
Document delivery failed
[INSTANCE_ID=<servername.domain>.1323278522241] [DELIVERY_ID=1153]
Error deliver document to FTP::Exception happened when calling deliver
 API::Error deliver document to FTP::FILE=[::Exception happened when calling deliver API::oracle.xdo.delivery.MissingRequiredPropertyException: Required property missing.
Property name :[SFTP_REMOTE_DIRECTORY]oracle.xdo.service.delivery.DeliveryException: oracle.xdo.delivery.MissingRequiredPropertyException: Required property missing.

 

Changes

No changes just trying to FTP using a web service call.
