Symptoms
Attempting to use newly defined Personalization 'Message Styled: Text: Email' on HR Views, 'Save Search' errors:
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.adf.mds.MetadataDefException: Unable to find component with absolute reference = /oracle/apps/per/selfservice/hrviews/webui/SprPersSearchbPG.FndNestedRegion1.Satec_Emails, XML Path = null. Please verify that the reference is valid and the definition of the component exists either on the File System or in the MDS Repository.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. HR Professional V4.0
2. HR Views
3. From the search people page, click: Personalize Person Search Results
4. Click create item
5. Fill in the fields to create 'test_email' > Save
6. Return to Application
7. The new field appeared correctly
8. Click on Save Search > the error occurs
