Tax Not Calculating for Quotes but Tax Calculates Successfully When Quote Converted to Sales Order (Doc ID 1415377.1)

Symptoms

No tax is calculated for Quote even after pricing is complete however tax does calculate successfully when the quote is converted into a Sales Order.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Responsibility: HTML Quoting
  2. Navigation: Quote
  3. Enter a quote
  4. Price Quote - both price and tax
  5. Tax value is 0.00 on the Quote  (tax is zero on quote)
  6. Place Order
  7. Tax is now calculated successfully on the Sales Order
Note: The same test case using Forms Quoting, the error "no jurisdiction for ship to location found" is returned when converting the quote to a Sales Order
