Symptoms
Using the Buyer Work Center (BWC) when updating an agreement and putting in a new effective date it is causing an error.
Error:
Start Date - Header - Please enter an Effective From date that is earlier than the latest creation date of the purchase orders referencing this document.
Replication Steps:
1. Login to the E-Business Suite and choose the Purchasing Module.
2. Buyer Work Center - Agreements - attempt to update the effective from date.
3. Error is given to the user.
Other:
The error does not occur in the Core Purchasing Form, the change is allowed and goes through without error.
Both Global Blanket and Contract Agreements are impacted.
