Oracle iStore administration UI has a Content tab which is for Content Manager and run into this error : This file type is not allowed. Please choose another file, when uploading files with profile set.

Symptoms


On : 11.5.10.2 version 11i.OTA.J.4 , Content Admin

Since CPU January 2012 patch was applied, customer is no longer  able to upload or  import a  content zip file.

ERROR: This file type is not allowed. Please choose another file.

 

When importing or upload the content zip file, is does not create the directory on the index of the content storage.   It is not moving to the specified directory and unzipping at all.

No errors generated- global application log-only broken pipe errors.
NO upload errors
NO default -web-access log is generated.



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Upload content zip files to the content server

Workaround:  FTP content.zip file to content server
