Inventory Close Period Notes - Uncosted or Pending Transactions Diagnostic SQL Scripts (Doc ID 143004.1)

Purpose

The following SQL scripts are designed to assist in the closing of an inventory period when there are unprocessed transactions

Use these scripts in conjunction with the Period Close Diagnostic from the support pack. If you do not have the support pack installed, you can use the second option that is a SQL script but the support pack version is preferred:

Inventory Period Close Diagnostic Test - for the period in question (Run from Support Pack) -- See Doc ID 206576.1

-OR-

BDE Period Close script - for the period in question (bdeprdcl.sql) -- See Doc ID 246467.1

* These scripts will help us identify any issues that may cause the period to not be able to close.

This Note is provided to give some details on what the Diagnostic provides.

Scope

These scripts can be used by analysts and clients alike to troubleshoot unprocessed transactions.
