Oracle Receivables (AR): Customer Workbench Information Center > Note 1436547.1

 

One of the major changes in Oracle Receivables Release 12 is the introduction of the new user interface for Searching, Creating and Maintaining Customer records. The Customer form in Release 11.5 which was developed using Oracle Forms, has now been replaced by an HTML/Java interface in Release 12.

This document provides the basics about the customer form. If gives a quick look at the change between Release 11.5 and Release 12, and will help you understand the structure of  the Release 12 Customer form. 

This document will be helpful to explain the functionality to new users, or it can be used a a reference / refresher for more advanced users. In the section Navigating the Customer Form, links are provided to notes that will discuss that section in more detail, including issues, troubleshooting tips and patches involving that area of the form.
