Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This note explains how to resolve the issues related to deletion of the Return for Correction appraisal notifications tracked in BUG 12554119 - RFC APPRAISAL - NO APPROVERS & JAVA ERROR WHEN TRYING TO UPDATE - IF USED DELETE

<Patch 12554119> :R12.PER.B resolves the issues. This patch delivers a new function HR_UTIL_MISC_SS.setAPPrSFLResponseContext for the Notification Process for Approvers and Notifiers (HR_NOTIFICATION_PRC) in the HR (hrssa.wft) workflow item type. The default Appraisal process (HR_APPRAISAL_DETAILS_JSP_PRC) uses Notification Process for Approvers and Notifiers to manage appraisal notifications.

Customers must add the new function to Initiator SFL Notification (HR_INITIATOR_SFL_NTF) in the RFC Notification Process (HR_RFC+NTF_PRC) process of Notification Process for Approvers and Notifiers (HR_NOTIFICATION_PRC). Addition of this function enables appraisal notifications to be retained in the All Actions Awaiting Your Attention table if the main appraiser deletes notifications returned for correction. The application saves the deleted RFC notifications with the Save for Later status.
