Symptoms
On version 12.1.3, Migration Issues 11i to R12
When running the balance migration, GMIG3MIB, the following error occurs repeatedly.
Total lot transaction quantity does not match transaction quantity (FND_ERROR_LOCATION_FIELD=) (FND_MESSAGE_TYPE=E)
There are no rows in MTI, MTLI (transaction_lots_interface), or MMT. However, there are 7662 rows in MTLT (mtl_transaction_lots_temp). These are mostly old and do not appear to have anything to do with migration, but it turns out that they do cause a problem.
The issue can be reproduced at will by running or rerunning the balance migration
Due to this issue, users cannot migrate all balances.
