Symptoms


When attempting to Review Details on an appraisal that has been submitted to the manager, the following error occurs:

oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Invalid char in text.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using Employee-Self Service, complete the appraisal. Enter comments for each competency.
2. Submit to the manager.
3. Click on Review Details function.
4. Unexpected error message pops up.
