Supplier Site Code Field Is Limited To 15 Characters But User Can Enter More (Doc ID 1441422.1)

In Release 12, Supplier Site Code field is limited to 15 characters but users can enter more.

In the new Supplier entry page introduced in Release 12, the supplier site code field does not prevent user from entering more than 15 characters. However, after saving the record, users observe the value gets truncated to 15 characters.

Is it possible to prevent users from entering no more than 15 char during the address name entry?


Steps To Reproduce
1. Log in to supplier entry form.
2. Enter supplier header information.
3. Click on "Address Book".
4. Enter Address information.
-- Observe that here, the system allows users to enter more that 15 characters.
-- However, when viewing the supplier information later, it truncates the address and site name detail.
