Symptoms
Intercompany AR Invoices have the incorrect tax rate in Payables after validation.
The tax rule is picking up the incorrect tax rate.
It is picking the rate from AR transaction instead of AP invoice.
The issue does not occur for invoices entered direct in AP
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Oracle Payables
Created tax rule based on accounting segments to pick the tax rate from AP default distribution account.
2. Path: Invoices -> Enter -> Invoices
3. Query an intercompany invoice
4. Validate the invoice.
