Cost Rollup Results in Error - "Bill Level Generation Failed. Process Aborted" (Doc ID 1448471.1)

On : 11.5.10.2 version, Cost Rollup Process

When attempting to run Cost Rollup the following error occurs.


ERROR
-----------------------

(i) The 'Cost Rollup'  'View Error' messages screen, shows the following error -

    "Bill level generation failed. Process aborted"


(ii) The 'Cost Rollup' Log file shows errors of the following type -

Mrp Bill Error: report_cycle-(MR_CYCLEITEMS)-Cycle: ingredient X --> product Y <Date and time>
Mrp Bill Error: MR_CYCLEITEMS item1: X, item2: Y, formula: A- <Date and time>
Mrp Bill Error: report_cycle-(MR_CYCLEITEMS)-Cycle: ingredient Y --> product X <Date and time>
Mrp Bill Error: MR_CYCLEITEMS item1: Y, item2: X, formula: B- <Date and time>


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. OPM Financials Responsibility
2  Navigate to the Cost Management ->Standard Costs ->Cost Rollup
3  Submit the request


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------

Item costs cannot be calculated because of this issue.
