Match Rule Not Applied In Sequence

A Match Rule Profile is created with sequenced rules to designate the order of the matching. When the Matching is done on an invoice to locate a shipment, the rules are not being done in the desired sequence and the match is being done with a lower sequence rule where the higher sequence does have a match. Help does indicate that this is the expected behavior: TOPIC: Match Rule Profile "Match rule profiles are ordered sets of one or more match rules. When an invoice is automatically matched to a shipment, the match rules in a profile are applied in sequence. When a rule finds shipments that match an invoice, the matching process for that invoice stops."
