Symptoms

The need is to have Captured the DFF Information only for the Specific accounts which entered/defined in DFF :Enter Journal  Captured Information

The Captured Info DFF can be used to capture account specific information.

Let's say when an account (1110) is used, the need is to capture extra information about the journal, for this the user needs to define the "Captured Info DFF" with "ACCOUNT_NUM" as the reference field, the account segment values are it's
context, let's say these three account segment value require extra information entered when uploading journals
  1110
  1120
  1130

The user will define Captured Info DFF like this

  Prompt : Account Number
  Reference Field : ACCOUNT_NUM
   Required
   Displayed
  Not Synchronize wit Reference Field

  Context Field Value

  Code : 1110, 1120, 1130
  Name : 1110, 1120, 1130
  Description : 1110, 1120, 1130

Define segments for each context to capture more information for that account. Captured Info DFF uses the value of the account segment as the context.

2.On attempting to enter the Data for the the DFF, all the Account Segments expecting the DFF Information need to be entered. But actually, the DFF was enabled only for three accounts.

3.While trying to enter the DFF for the other accounts which do not have Context Sensitive information, the following error encounters

'Error Processing Column Mapping for Descriptive Flexfield'.
