In Oracle Sourcing, Release 12.1.3, an error message appears when the external supplier user attempts to connect to the Sourcing home page.
Welcome to Sourcing! You have not been set up correctly to access the application. Please use the supplier user registration process to set up a valid user account.
Steps To Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to Oracle Applications as the external supplier user.
2. Select the responsibility Sourcing Supplier.
3. Click on the Sourcing Home Page link. The error appears at this point.
The issue only occurs for external supplier users that existed in the Release 11.5.10 environment prior to upgrading to Release 12.1.3. The issue does not occur for external supplier users that were created after the upgrade to Release 12.1.3.
Due to this issue, the previously-existing supplier users cannot log in to the application to perform their required business tasks.
