Information in this document applies to any platform.
First, in an OPM batch, do a WIP Completion into an LPN.
Then, when performing a WIP COMPLETION RETURN in the batch, the user inputs WIP COMPLETION instead of WIP COMPLETION RETURN as transaction type and enters all the info and realizes that it should be WIP COMPLETION RETURN. The user goes back to transaction type and changes to WIP COMPLETION RETURN and completes the transaction. The result is negative inventory without LPN reference. In other words, instead of updating the original onhand record, it creates a new onhand record that is unpacked, has no LPN, and onhand quantity is negative. It's as if the WIP COMPLETION RETURN lost the LPN, although if you look at the transaction itself the LPN data is there.
1. In WMS org, create batch WIP Completion into an LPN
2. Create an identical transaction, but then change transaction type from WIP Completion to WIP Completion Return after entering data and before clicking Transact
