Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Teleservice - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Actual Behavior

In Service Request form Tasks tab a task can be created with Actual Effort set to an UOM but without any actual effort value.
The same problem exist with Planned Effort.

Expected Behavior

Expect that if an Actual Effort UOM is selected, then the Actual Effort value should be mandatory.
The same should apply for Planned Effort.

Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Service Request and a Task in the Tasks tab
2. In the Service Request Tasks tab go to Actual Effort and select an UOM (like Minutes). Do not enter any actual effort value.
3. Save, and the task is saved without error.
4. If the same task is created or queried in Task Manager the actual effort value is mandatory when the actual effort UOM is selected.
