Customer Form, Contacts/Communication: Troubleshooting, How To, Known Issues and Patches (Doc ID 1456319.1)

Purpose

Oracle Receivables (AR): Customer Workbench Information Center > Note 1456319.1

This document provides troubleshooting tips, how to instructions and a consolidation of known issues and patches regarding creating and maintaining the Contacts at the Account or Site Level.

The following shows the structure of the Customer Form in Release 12, highlighted in Yellow is the Communication details at the Account Level, and highlighted in Pink is the Communication details at the Site Level.

Note: There is a Communication Tab at the Party Level, but this cannot be created or updated from the Oracle Receivables Customer Form.


The following shows the structure of the Customer Form in Release 11.5, highlighted in Yellow is the Communication, Contact and Contacts: Roles at the Account Level, and highlighted in Pink is the  Communication, Contact and Contacts: Roles at the Site Level.

These highlighted yellow and pink areas are the focus of this note.

Note: Review the following images to see where Contacts/Communication is on the Customer Form.

Release 12:

Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Customers > Customers

  1. Query an existing customer

  2. In the results page, click on the Details Icon

  3. Click on the Communication tab, highlighted in yellow is the Communication tab at the Account Level

  4. To navigate to the Communication tab at the Site Level, instead of clicking on Communication tab in step 3, click on the Sites tab instead.



    Then click on the Details icon for a particular Site



    Then click on the Communication Tab, highlighted in yellow is the Communication tab at the Site Level


Release 11.5:

In Release 11.5, The Contacts section is displayed as follows:

Responsibility:
Receivables Manager
Navigation: Customers > Standard

  1. Query an Existing Customer, in the Search Results screen move focus (blue bar)  to the Child record, and click Ok

     
  2. Higlighted in yellow is the Communication, Contacts and Contacts: Roles tabs at the Account Level





  3. To navigate to the Site Level Contacts, from step 2 above, click on the Open button instead

  4. Highlighted in yellow is the Communication, Contacts and Contacts: Roles tab at the Site Level
