Symptoms
Problem Statement:
Processed the Partial Period Accrual Calculation and both the entries had the same amounts for the debits and credits. That is, the accrual amounts and the reversal amounts were on the same journal entry.
Example:
Want to do an early accrual for April 22 - April 30 based on payroll period period 25-MAR-20XX to 07-APR-20XX
For Partial Period Accrual Calculation process, entered parameters thinking this would do the accrual for 8 days based on prior pay period:
Period Date: 08-APR-20XX
Accounting Date: 16-APR-20XX
Journal Import log for Payroll shows one batch imported successfully
Period Name: APR-XX
Accounted Debits 21413400
Accounted Credits 21413400
There should be a journal batch for April and one for May to reverse the accrual, but there is only one batch for April
Each journal entry line has a value in the debit AND credit fields, instead of a value in the debit OR credit field.
