R12: CONFIGURED PARENT STATUS CASCADES TO CHILD (Doc ID 1464622.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Support Codes

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When creating a child instance the status was under review but after the apply button it moves it to active which is the parent status

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Staus of parent should not cascade to child. In 12.0.4 child status was retained.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility : installed base agent user, search instance, create child, enter all the data and apply
1. Query instance XXX (status created) => Configuration => add child
2. select YYY (status latest)
3. After applying changes status of YYY changed to CREATED, same as parent.
