CONFIGURATOR CLOSES IMMEDIATELY AFTER OPENING: CACHE ENTRY NOT FOUND (Doc ID 1468377.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3.31.5 version, Configurator Engine

When attempting to create a configured item on a sales order Oracle Configurator launches and then immediately closes. Support found the following error in the java console:

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management Super User Responsibility.
2. Create a Sales Order with a Configurable Item.
3. Click on the Configurator button.
4. Configurator launches and then immediately closes

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete sales orders. They have more than 100 orders not entered at this point.
