Unexpected Activity On Debtor Control Account After Running Submit Accounting Process In R12 (Doc ID 1471431.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Upgrade project from 11i (11.5.7) e-Business Suite to R12.1.3.

In 11i you ran the General Ledger interface program each day to transfer accounting data from Accounts receivable to General Ledger.

This is apparently obsolete in R12.1.3 and replaced by Submit Accounting process.

After running Submit Accounting in R12.1.3 there is unexpected activity against the debtor control account 1.999.CAS in the resulting journals.

This is not seen on 11i when the GL interface is run. We need to understand the differences in the two process, the client does not expect to see activity against this account.
