Symptoms


User Defined Voluntary Deduction is reducing Disposable Income Calculation for Garnishment Category elements even though the Wage Attachment Earnings Rule is set up to not reduce the Disposable Income by the Voluntary Deduction Amount.


 

States (and which wage attachment categories) where voluntary deductions reduce disposable income.

At the state level:

For life insurance, the following states require the inclusion in disposable income calculation:

         CT for CS, AL, SS, CD and Garn
         LA for CS, AL. SS, CD and Garn
         NM for CS, AL and SS only

For union dues, the following states require the inclusion in disposable income calculation:

         CA for CS, AL and SS only
         CT for CS, AL, SS, CD and Garn
         DE for CS, AL and SS only
         HI for CD and Garn only
         IL for CS, AL and SS only
         MT for CS, AL and SS only
         NM for CS, AL and SS only
         TX for CS, AL and SS only
         WA for CS, AL and SS only
