The Payroll Field In Newly Created Assignment Is Editable Even Though The HR User Type Profile Is Set To HR User (Doc ID 1475295.1)

This note provides a brief overview of


Problem Statement:

When the HR:User Type is set to HR User and the second assignment is created,
the payroll field is editable.

Expected behavior:
When the HR:User Type is set to HR User and the second assignment is created;
the payroll field should be greyed out and it shouldn't be allowed to edit.


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login as System Administrator Responsibility
  2. Navigate to Profile system and Query on HR:User Type profile
  3. Set it to HR User at responsibility level for HRMS Manager Responsibility
  4. Login as HRMS Manager Responsibility
  5. Navigate to People and Enter Maintain Form
  6. Query on the employee
  7. Got To Assignement and create a second assignment
  8. Verify that the payroll field is editable.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot keep the payroll field non editable for the newsly created assignment and system is allowing to enter the payroll for this assignment.
