INCORRECT CALCULATION OF PER PAY COMMUNICATED AMOUNT OF PLANS OF WEEKLY EMPS (Doc ID 1475701.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.5.10.2 version, Oracle Advanced Benefits


The per pay period communicated amount of benefit plans of weekly employees are based on 53 pay periods instead of 52. The annualized amount is divided by 53 instead of 52; thus, causing incorrect per pay period communicated amount.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Resp: US HRMS Manager responsibility
2. Navigate: People > Total Comp Enrollment > Non-flex Program
3. Specify an effective date (used the current date)
4. Specify a weekly employee
5. Chose one of the benefit plan/option (eg Voluntary Life employee only)
6. Go to Benefits tab and change the amount field (I changed the weekly emplolyee's amount from 25000 to 50000)
7. Click [RECALCULATE]
8. Go to the AMOUNT tab to see the pay period Communicated amount
