(Doc ID 1477233.1)
Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When attempting to perform inspection or while delivering, if the quantity's decimal place is more than 6; e.g., 0.168874012, the inspection and delivery completes without any error.
However, in the RCV_TRANSACTIONS table, the primary_quantity for RECEIVE is correct at 0.168874012 with 9 decimal places, but the primary_quantity for ACCEPT & DELIVER exists with 6 decimal places; e.g. truncated to , 0.168874.
The above data corruption could result in the invoice not being completed, with messages like "Quantity billed exceeds quantity accepted".
Qty received > Qty accepted, Billed Qty = Qty received > Qty accepted, so causing QUALITY hold in 4-way matching
Also in MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS the primary_quantity is truncated
There remains small quantities in MTL_SUPPLY table with Receiving supply_type_code created by Accept transaction
