Symptoms

When attempting to create a Customer Product (Item Instance) in CMRO the following error occurs:

ERROR

"Internal Error! API returned error without error message."

ERROR DETAILS FROM CSI LOG
-----------------------
- Error from CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_PVT..
-MESSAGE DATA = ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small in Package CSI_COUNTER_TEMPLATE_PUB Procedure AUTOINSTANTIATE_COUNTERS
- Error from CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_PVT..
-MESSAGE DATA = API Programming Error: CSI_COUNTER_TEMPLATE_PUB.AUTOINSTANTIATE_COUNTERS API Failed. Could not associate a Counter for this Instance.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
(R) Complex MRO responsibility
(N) Configuration > Unit Configuration > Create Product
Enter the mandatory information. Getting error when clicking on Apply button.
