Symptoms

Followed "2.1: Using Hardware Load Balancers with Single Web Entry Point" from <Note 380489.1> Using Load-Balancers with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12,
and when writing Context Configuration files back to file system, you get the following error-stack:

PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: PKIXCertPathBuilderImpl could not build a valid CertPath
internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: the certificate issued by CN=xxxx is not trusted
internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Certificate chain error


However, one still can run AutoConfig and restart services to make sure these settings take effects.

Oracle Appplications is not SSL enabled, but LBR terminates SSL.

Changes

 Enabled SSL.
