R12: In Buyer Work Center, Printing an Old Revision for a Complex Purchase Order Ends with "The system could not generate the PDF document" Error

PBWC: Professional Buyers Work Center
In Buyer Work Center, using the PO Revision History, while attempting to print an old revision for a Complex Purchase Order, the following error occurs:
Problem: The system could not generate the PDF document.
Reason: The system detected an error in the following code/object.
Action: Please contact your system administrator and try again.
It works fine for Standard Purchase Orders and also works fine for Complex Purchase Orders but only for the current revision.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the Orders menu option under the Buyer Work Center
2. Query a Complex PO
3. Use the Actions poplist to select View Revision History
4. In the Print Document Revisions section, enter 2 in the Revision Number field (PO current revision is grater than 2) and click the Go button:
Error is generated.
