Update To Master Controlled LOT_CONTROL_CODE Fails To Reset Dependent Child Controlled Attributes (Doc ID 1485591.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Item Issues

When attempting to view child organization items in Organization Items form, after Master controlled attribute LOT CONTROL has been set to off, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Lot Status can be enabled only if Lot Control is Full Controlled.
Followed by: Do you want to save the changes you have made?

  This last message probably to save un-check of Lot substitution enabled, which was performed automatically by the form. (value remains Y in the database).


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enable lot control at the master for the item LOTTESTITEM
2. Enable lot substitution, lot status and supply default lot status (Active) for one child organization
3. Turn off Lot Control Attribute at Master
4. In the data base, Lot_substitution_enabled, Default_lot_status_id and Lot_status_enabled stay populated for the child organization item.
5. Query child item and In the form Lot substitution enabled is unchecked, Lot status enabled stays checked and default lot status remains Active.
6. When trying to exit the form, errors display.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, dependent attributes set at the organization level are not getting reset when Lot Control is turned off.
