Email Center: Cannot Restrict Supervisors access to Limited Accounts (Doc ID 1486129.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Email Center Administration

Actual Behavior


Identified an undesirable situation when assigning mailboxes using a Supervisor's role. That may affect certain Email Center Sites.

Take for example the scenario:-

a) Responsibility = HR Supervisor Console

  Initially this responsibility will be given access to all HR mailboxes and Supervisor can assign agents to HR mailboxes

b) Responsibility = Finance Supervisor Console

  Initially this responsibility will be given access to all Finance mailboxes and Supervisor can assign agents to Finance mailboxes.

However the issue is that there is nothing to stop the Finance Supervisor (likewise HR Supervisor) assigning agents (including themselves) to the HR Mailboxes.

Expected Behaviour


Supervisors can only assign agents to mailboxes that they have access to, and not the the mailboxes of the entire system.
