When attempting to process Sales Orders, Receipt Transactions, Depot Repair Oders, etc., the following errors occur. These are just examples of the types of errors produced by this issue. You will also observe that Item Instances are not updated with the right status or the correct Customer Sales information, etc. The errors listed here are just two examples of what you might see.
The source item instance &ITEM, in Subinventory &SUBINVENTORY, for Organization &ORG_ID in Oracle Install Base does not exist. Please verify that any receipt transactions were successful.
Invalid Inventory Location supplied. Inventory Organization id or Subinventory cannot be null for the location type code - INVENTORY.
The issue can be erproduced in many ways, but not at will. In this case, one Organization had a set up issue that was preventing certain transactions from processing.
