Symptoms
On Oracle Applications 12.1.3 version, the Workflow Mailer is unable to send emails and the following error is produced in the log file:
oracle.apps.fnd.wf.mailer.SMTPOutboundProcessor.send(Message)]:Problem encountered when sending to {[[INDRA ]]} -> javax.mail.MessagingException: 530 Authentication required

Create a workflow to send an email notification.
